blogging: i'm into it.

I'm a self-proclaimed blogophile. Shelter and stationery blogs are my weakness, but I just as easily get sucked into blogs about food, fitness (preferably while eating cheese), feminism and activism, and DC-area news. It's a problem, one to which my eternally-full Google Reader can attest. Why, then, have I never once published a post of my own? Easy: I'm one lazy homie.  Plus, I've said "I" like, fifteen times in three sentences already. Gross.

Of course, this is silly. I'm just as obsessed with friends' blogs, and I've never once had that same thought about them. So, here I am, you guys, just a girl on her couch in Washington, D.C., excited to have a space to write about things I love.

I'll likely drone on about my Etsy shop, Modern Ink Stationery (It's not narcististic! It's blogging!), but I'm also psyched to highlight some of the amazingly talented stationery designers out there, recipes I attempt and hopefully rock out, and DIY projects I attempt and probably screw up. Well, they won't all be winners; Grace Bonney, I am not.

In the meantime, I'll leave you with the eternal narcissism of one Ron Burgundy: Anchorman. Man, I couldn't be this awesome if I tried.
